I’ve been an avid gamer since I was 4, starting on the handhelds of the time (Game Boys and Sega Game Gears) and have never stopped since. Over the years I’ve amassed a large collection of consoles and games stretching from the 80s to the present day. Whilst I naturally keep up to date with the gaming scene, I’m a huge fan of retro gaming and love nothing better than battling through the charming classics.

I got my gaming chops at the age of 4, slumming it out on a SNES and a GameBoy, progressing to Playstation(s) and moving up the handheld ranks, eventually levelling out at a DS and a PSP.  When I’m not working or writing, or playing games, or watching films, or listening to music, I can usually be found lurking the internet, or playing guitar, sometimes with a band.  I’m also Scottish, so expect whiskey-drunken comments about kilt-toting, bagpipe-playing ginger haggis’s.

Starting at the relatively late age of 10 on my Sega Saturn, gaming came to me a little later than the rest of my fellow staff. It was only once I got a PS2 a few years later, and a few playthoughs of the MGS games and then my PS3, Xbox 360, DS and PSP that I really got into gaming. After that, I got into CoD4 and a few other FPS’s and this is where the meat of my gaming is. The majority of the Call of Duty Youtube community edits and makes montages and other productions and I decided to do the same. Using and still learning the likes of Sony Vegas and other editing software has become quite the past time to me, alongside gaming. This all ties in with me (hopefully) creating great video content to help the staff here as well as provide entertainment for you guys.

I’m an avid Nintendo gamer having both a Wii and DS, I also have a PSP (original). However I’m not a fanboy and will play games on any console. I’ve been playing games since the days of the ZX Spectrum 48k+. Yes, really!
