Not much gaming for me again this week. I’ve spent most of my time playing the update for Coconut Dodge, trying out all the new features and setting some new high scores, as well as having quick blasts on both GTAIV and MW2. I started Peace Walker, too, but haven’t made it that far through yet. Hopefully I’ll have time to finish it next week. It’s pretty good so far and the controls have been mapped well to the PSP, although as ever I really do miss that second analog stick.

Once again I have been pouring all of my gaming time into Red Dead Redemption. I’ve played for roughly ten hours, and the game is telling me that I’m only half-way through. There is no doubt that it is a brilliant and atmospheric game, but I’m starting to wonder whether I will ever get to the finish. I’ve got quite a busy week ahead but after that I should be free for a while to sink my teeth into it properly. I’ve also been on my iPod Touch whilst out and about, but instead of playing games I have been arranging all of my Apps into folders; if you don’t have the folders yet, update your iPod!

This week, most of my time has been plugged into playing Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker on my poor neglected PSP. It’s so much fun and really is the true MGS title it was promised to be. I’ve also tried Dragon Age: Origins, which I’m not much of a fan of, but then, RPGs aren’t always my thing so it’s understandable. It does seem to stutter a lot and that doesn’t really help you get involved. Aside from MW2, I’ve also got back into Red Dead Redemption, scoring a huge boost towards my 100% completion by completing one set of ambient challenges and moving all of the others above 5/10.

Admittedly, not a lot of gaming has been done on my part this week, and what I did get in was on my PSP. A little bit of Widget’s Odyssee, Bloons TD, and Super Stardust Portable, as well as some Tetris. Oh and a couple of races in Mario Kart Wii with the brother, but that’s about it this week.
